Atelier Playa Mujeres

Atelier Playa Mujeres is an adults-only all-inclusive beach resort in Cancun. It offers eight dining spots, all-suite accommodation, a packed schedule of activity and entertainment, and 24-hour room service.

It’s a sleek and sophisticated resort, sitting between the turquoise waters of the Caribbean and an impressive golf course.

The 431 suites are tastefully decorated in calm neutrals and come kitted out with very comfortable Total-Rest Beds®, as a well as Smart TVs and fully stocked minibar. They also feature large Chill-out Bath® tubs, rain showers and Molton Brown amenities.

Upgrade to an INSPIRA Suite to benefit from an extra level of luxury, including private check-in, complimentary green fees and a choice of water activities. Choose from Subsee Explorer (glass-bottomed boat tour), Flowrider (surfing wave machine), Aquabounce (inflatable water park) and Aquatwister (a thrilling boat ride that feels like a rollercoaster).

There are seven restaurants included – serving cuisine from all over the world, including authentic Mexican dishes, tasty Thai stir-fries and Italian favourites. There’s also an exceptional seven-course dining experience at Maria Dolores, showcasing the best local and seasonal produce and the creativity of master chef Edgar Nuñez. This isn’t included in the package, but well worth a try one night of your stay. There are a further six bars on site, each with a different ambience.

There’s a large swimming pool lined with ample sun loungers and a swim-up pool bar. If you’re more of a beach person, you’ll be impressed by the dazzling white sands, dotted with private cabanas. Try a new water sport (kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding and other non-motorized water sports are included) or join in with beach tennis, CrossFit, aerobics and aqua Zumba.

Other facilities include a state-of-the-art fitness centre featuring Technogym® equipment and pleasant views over the lush landscapes outside.

Art is a big thing here, and there’s a unique Art & Experience Program. Get your creative juices flowing with art workshops, mixology classes and creative flower arranging sessions. Join a guided walk to discover the stories behind the striking artwork you’ll find throughout Atelier Playa Mujeres.

Nuup Spa® is another highlight here. It stretches over three levels, with 18 treatment rooms and a signature hydrotherapy circuit including a ludic pool, steam room, sauna and halotherapy (salt treatments). There’s also a Beauty Salon, where you can get your hair and nails done.

Borrow a car for the day to explore everything the Yucatan Peninsula has to offer. Whether you’ve always wanted to swim with dolphins, visit the ancient Aztec ruins at Chichen-Itza, sail to the picturesque Isla Mujeres or dive the great Mayan Reef, there's so much to explore.

If you’re looking for a contemporary, adults-only retreat near to Cancun, with great food, a beautiful beach and lots to do, Atelier Playa Mujeres is tough to beat.
