Kozan Teppan-Yaki
Kozan’s interiors echo the minimalist aesthetics of a classical Japanese Teppanyaki restaurant, with an unconventional architectural design, giving it a modern edge. In Japan, “teppan” is the large iron hotplate on which food is prepared, and “yaki” refers to the fare that has been grilled, hence the term Teppanyaki. Kozan, meaning ‘mountain’ in Japanese, is expressed in the logo as a calligraphic symbol of Mount Kinabalu, South East Asia’s highest mountain and Sabah’s most recognizable icon.
