Alila Jabal Akhdar

The stunning Alila Jabal Akhdar is a peaceful sanctuary, enjoying a unique location on the cliff edge of the Al Hajar Mountains, 2000 metres above sea level and boasts breath-taking vistas of the desert and dramatic ravines. The resort offers the opportunity for a holiday filled with adventure, where you can also soak in the local culture and history as well as relax to your hearts content.

Alila Jabal Akhdar is home to 78 suites that range in size and are generously spaced out to maximize privacy and each offer plenty of space and tantalising mountain views. Each are designed in a contemporary style with beautiful finishing touches and if you are looking for the crème de la crème in accommodation, the Two Bedroom Jabal Villa comes complete with an expansive terrace and private pool. 

During your stay at Alila Jabal Akhdar, the leisure concierge team are on hand to plan your stay with many different activities to offer including trekking, canyon walks and cave adventures. The resort is also perfect for mountain biking where you explore the rugged terrain and take in the beautiful views whilst on your travels or perhaps you would like to try your hand at abseiling, led by certified guides. For the less adventurous there are sunset picnics, mixology classes, spa kitchen experiences and private stargazing. Alila Spa is also the perfect place to indulge in head-to-toe pampering with a menu of tantalizing treatments that can be enjoyed on an outdoor cabana, giving a feeling of being perched at the edge of the world. There is also a glistening infinity pool for those lazy pool days, offering majestic views of the Green Mountains or you can enjoy yoga and meditation sessions and fitness programmes at the state-of-the-art gym. 

Children are welcome at the resort and there is a wonderful Kids Club and Teen Zone offering games, activities and crafts. Please note that due to the uneven terrain you are strongly advised to keep children under constant supervision.

Alila Jabal Akhdar is home to Juniper Restaurant where you can feast on a rich variety of flavours using fresh and seasonal local produce crafted to gastronomic perfection, complimented by a backdrop of the Al Hajar Mountains. There is also Rose Lounge that is perfect for unwinding with light bites and refreshing drinks.
