Denis Private Island

Denis Private Island lies in the Seychelles, just 375 acres in size and circled by pristine white sands. Here you can discover a forgotten mode of luxury; natural surroundings, unplugged from digital distraction, that is complimented perfectly with delectable dining, peaceful accommodation and bucket list experiences.

Denis Private Island is home to 23 luxury cottages that enjoy total privacy and are each scattered throughout the resort, separated by lush foliage and walking distance from the beach. The beautiful Beach Cottages have a private furnished veranda and private courtyard with open air shower, whilst the Beachfront Spa Cottages boast a personal massage pavilion in your private bathroom courtyard. For the ultimate island experience stay in a Beach Villa, complete with extended sea-facing private deck and a private plunge pool.

At Denis Island, joining one of the regularly organised nature tours is merely an induction and after that, the island and its inhabitants are yours to discover. Visit in the turtle nesting season and track egg-laying sea turtles on the beach or scout the forests and spot some of the most endangered birds in the world. You can enjoy leisurely strolls or bikes rides and spot century-old tortoises, animal pens and even a chapel or go for a spot of snorkelling around the island’s lagoon and find some of the colourful marine life that live here. The resort can also organise fishing trips and diving to some of the best areas and from September to mid-November whale sharks and manta rays can be a fantastic attraction.

If you are after a little pampering then Denis Private Island has a wonderful array of signature massages, facials and body scrubs that can be enjoyed within your own cottage and there is also a menu for children as even the smallest of guests deserve to be pampered. This idyllic beach destination is one of earth’s most remote islands and is therefore perfect for those romantic moments whether it be renewing your vows or celebrating an anniversary or just making those special moments together enjoying romantic dinners together under the stars. The island promotes healthy cuisine and boasts a farm-to-table concept with a rich culinary experience and many of the ingredients used are from the islands farm.

Denis Island is exclusively reserved for guests to share their stay with surrounding nature, and it is a conservationist’s paradise, hosting several globally recognised programmes. Its rich marine life, paths that lead to surprise and wonder, and cut off from the outside world woes makes this is a real Robinson Crusoe experience that you’ll never forget.
